I believe in body positive and cosplay is for everyone. Will be posting soon a project I did over the summer.
A few weeks ago I had the chance to attend Tennessee Comic Con in Memphis, TN at the Cook Convention Center. With the guests of Sean Schemmel, Jon Bailey, Tom Cook, Kristen Hughey, and Haiden Hazard I had to go. There was tons of parking at the center and free parking across the street behind the center. The registration was quick and easy to navigate and walking into the hall I saw vendors galore and the guests booths lined up on the walls. The panels were ran by the featured guest and my favorite had to be the armor panel ran by Haiden Hazard explaining the various ways to make armor, which is a change to me cause when I think comic con, I am not used to there being panels I would want to attend, so major plus on that. The dealers were a great varaity and had me walking around them a few times over. The analog gaming area was a great chance to learn a few new board games while taking a rest off my feet. The cosplay was all over the place and I managed to grab a ton of great shots. For downtown Memphis, this was a welcomed change at a great price that I hope to see back next year and look forward to. If you missed it this year, then I highly suggest you check them out this year. Check out some of the cool cosplays below and be sure to check out the full gallery on my Facebook page.
My 12 hour work shift is over and I am sitting in a Starbucks downing a iced caramel coffee with 3 shots of espresso ready to take on Anime Blues Remix today. No planned shoots or events, just 100% freedom. Anime Blues has a special place to me as I was apart of the volunteer group year one and staff leading up to the 2nd year. I look forward to it every year as my home convention and where I first started running karaoke panels. Remix is a one day convention held every year in January by the Anime Blues group.
When I am bored I start messing around with stuff and end up making something neat (and a mess).
This is my latest results!
With the issues I have been having with Facebook, I have decided to finish playing around with the idea and just open my site. At the time of writing this I am only lacking finishing some of the content. While I will still be using my FB page, all major contacting and bookings will be done through this site.
I am looking forward to 2016 and all of the great things I am planning will all start to be put into action. My first convention will be Katsucon and my biggest event convention will be Colossalcon with it falling on my birthday. I will be flying in a special guest to work with for the event.
